Bookkeeper (Part Time)

Job Summary:

This is a part time job. This employee performs all manual bookkeeping required, completes financial reports, drafts operating budget and revision. Advises Managing Director on financial matters.

Specific Job Functions:

1. Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
2. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures (produce appropriate reports for these accounts)
3. Maintains book of accounts including cash receipts and expenditure ledger, general ledger.
4. Prepares monthly financial statement
5. Prepares draft of operating budget and any revisions required
6. General financial work as required

Required Skills:

1. Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting, budgeting, control of finances and investments
2. Must have understanding of financial reports
3. Must have the ability to read and interpret complex Government dues and taxes and implement instructions therefrom
4. Must have Excellent Communication Skills both written and oral
5. Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel
6. Must be proficient in using Quickbooks
