Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Specialist position is responsible for documenting, developing and updating system manuals, IT processes and standards, and measuring and ensuring compliance to set standards.

Requirements:

Education, Knowledge and Licensure Requirement:

  1. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent course.
  2. An advantage if candidate has a Masters Degree in Business or Information Management.

Experience Requirement:

  1. At least 2 years experience and exposure in process-related projects or assignments/tasks.
  2. Minimum of two years of technical communication experience in English, preferably in software quality assurance, policy and procedure documentation, instructional design.

Competency Requirement :

  1. Intermediate level proficiency with a majority of the following tools and technologies — MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project, Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop (or similar graphics tools), and screen capture tools (e.g. Snag-It and Captivate).
  2. Experience in using Oracle Tutor, a plus
  3. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with programmers, management, and end-users is required.
  4. Exposure to standardization and certification efforts.
  5. Ability to think logically and work well with people.
  6. Ability to conduct training or workshops.
  7. Excellent communication skills in oral and written English.
