JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

The Promotions Assistant’s general objective is to assist the Promotions Manager in planning, coordinating and properly implementing promotional activities to help in the achievement of company sales and margin targets. He/ She will perform the following:

1. Consolidates filters and scans promotional listings.
2. Updates the MMS on all promotional price events.
i. Thematic Promotional Events
ii. 3-Day Sale Events
iii. Local Anniversary Sale
iv. Local Festival Sale
v. Supplier Initiated Promo
vi. Company Initiated Promo
3. Communicates with SM-IT regarding price events concerning POS Program.
4. Assists the Promotions Manager on the reports needed.
5. Prepares weekly month to date Top 300 Listing.
6. Prepares consolidated Merchandising Action Slip reports, POS Correction reports.
7. Handles point of correction system.
8. Maintains orderliness of the work area to ensure systematic flow of work.
i. Ensures proper storage and cleanliness as preventive measure against fire or other accidents.
9. Implements safety and security control measures in consonance with corporate standards which includes:
i. Safety of employees
ii. Safety of customers / visitors, etc.
iii. Security against any loss / damage.
iv. Fire prevention of the building
10. Ensures good housekeeping and proper maintenance / use of supplies / facilities / equipment in the assigned area of responsibility.
11. Performs other functions that may be assigned to him/her from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
2. Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
3. Must possesses good analytical and communication skills.
4. Can work well with a team and must be keen attention to details.
5. Must be flexible, highly motivated and can work with minimum supervison.
6. 1 Full-Time positions available.
