RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Business Analyst, you will serve as liaison between IT and business end-users. Work with the business units to analyze business requirements and review/product specifications for any new/change to technology applications. You will be responsible to identify, assess, and document business requirements, recommending business priorities, and advising business on options, risks, and costs. Analyze impact of proposed solution across the business, develop use cases to explain business requirements/specifications to IT team and contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews.
Perform Server Patch review and validation of deployed patches, researching what patches need to be deployed based on vendor recommendations. Maintain and validate all server patches to ensure that all servers are up to date. Be able to make recommendations and suggestions on the best approach to keep patches current and develop a deployment process to validate patch implementations. Must provide continuous communication and reporting on server patch conditions. Work with the Technical Analysts and Engineering team to ensure that a patch deployment plan is developed and implemented.
Assist Quality Management team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test plans and ensure that the proper testing plans have been developed and implemented. Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team. Work with the test team to develop test scripts and ensure testing results correspond to the business requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Candidate must be technically familiar with administration of UNIX and Windows Servers
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Applicant must have good written, verbal, personal time management skills, and the ability to work well with people from a variety of groups and disciplines.
- Business Analyst job skills, understanding of business processes
- Setting up test scenarios, scripting knowledge.
- Candidates will have to be able to work during the hours of the US team until training is completed (~12 weeks). The work hours after the training is completed will revert back to local work hours. The work day would be an 8 hour day with the work times being 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
